Emily Phillippi:
Emily moved to Madison in 2007 to attend the University of Wisconsin where she majored in English, Psychology, and French. During college, Emily studied abroad in Paris and also went to Kenya with Blackhawk in 2009 where her passion for social justice was kindled.

Hello hello, my name is Cali! I have lived in Madison, primarily while attending UW, for a total of 8 years and am originally a Minnesotan. I will be going to Kenya with lots of great people (as you can see), including my wonderful husband of 1.5 years, Tyler. I am currently a third year medical student at UW-Madison and very much appreciating getting to talk with actual people in clinics instead of having my head in a book. When I get time outside of school, I enjoy camping (Boundary Waters, anyone?) and snowshoeing with Tyler, and my recent appreciation for yoga.
