Meet Julie!

My name is Jullianne Wilke and I live in Madison, Wisconsin with my two cats-Tinkerbell and Tigerlily.  I moved to Madison in 1989 to attend Graduate School and have been working as a School Social Worker in a middle school for the past 21 years. Prior to working in Social Work, I worked with persons with disabilities as a Therapeutic Recreation Therapist in Chicago; an Outdoor Specialist at an Outdoor Education Center in Indiana and as an Emergency Medical Technician on an ambulance in Milwaukee. Since moving to Madison, I attended High Point Church, volunteering with the high school ministry, leading worship, boundary water trips and mission trips to Jamaica and Guatamala. . More recently, I’ve attended Blackhawk, participating on a mission trip to Juarez, Mexico and more recently Honduras.  Coming to a saving faith as a teenager, I have long had a heart for missions and overall have served on 12 trips out of the country to 9 different countries.  Still Kenya has been on my heart for years.  I am so excited to have been chosen to be a part of this team and so it is with deep gratitude that I enter into this opportunity to serve and am trusting God with all the details of safety, and possibly a place to serve on a longer term basis.
