We’ve already met three times, and are (in this blogger’s humble opinion) doing a great job getting to know each other.  We recently completed a Spiritual Needs Assessment, and discussed the impact (both positive and negative) of the varied gifts we individually possess, and how that might affect our group during our trip.

We’ve also been reading Steve Corbett’s and Brian Fikkert’s book, When Helping Hurts: How to Alleviate Poverty without Hurting the Poor and discussing what we’ve learned.
